“18岁读大学,问你理想是什么,你说环游世界;
22岁读完大学,你说找了工作以后再去;
26岁工作稳定,你说买了房再说;
30岁有房了,你说等结婚带老婆一起去;
35岁有了孩子,你说等孩子大一点再去;
1.贵重物品:身份证/护照、边境通行证(不去珠峰、阿里、边境就不用了)、学生证(景区学生票);相机、手机、各种充电器、移动硬盘(导照片)、现金、银行卡;
3.卫生用品:防晒霜(30+就够了)、墨镜、飞巾、太阳帽(防晒),毛巾、牙具、洗浴液、刮胡刀(男生)、面膜(女生)、吹风机、雨具(7、8月份是雨季)、另外由于高原干燥,可带上润唇膏、护肤品,塑料袋(大小可封口,主要为防潮防尘用);

====================================================================

Tip:

Tip:

Tip:

====================================================================

=================================================================

A vibrant mysterious Eurasian land – Turkey
June 7, 2012 at 03:05 (My Footsteps)
It is indeed more necessary to enjoy the moment than fear about the unpredictable future. Life is consisted of thousands of moments, so does future. Everyday we are writing the history for the next day. Get rid of worry, fear, suspicion, insecurity about future, which not only ruin the present, but take away the future. Make the present the best you can! Bright future will come along! Otherwise, at least, when you look back, you can put up a smile on your face and say, that moment took my breath away! Life is short, don’t make yourself regret.
İstanbul is a magical seal which unites Europe and Asia since the ancient times. Without a doubt, Istanbul is certainly the most beautiful place of the world.
If the Earth were a single state, Istanbul would be its capital
“On the meeting point of two worlds, the ornament of Turkish homeland, the treasure of Turkish history, the city cherished by the Turkish nation, İstanbul, has its place in the hearts of all citizens.” - Atatürk

If one had but a single glance to give the world, one should gaze on Istanbul.
You can’t learn about love.
Love appears on the wings of grace..
YOUR FUTURE IN A CUP OT COFFEE
Drinking Turkish coffee is a centuries-old ritual, enjoyed best in company and sometimes followed by some fortune telling.
As the poet says,
“Not the coffee, nor the coffeehouse is the longing of the soul
A friend is what the soul longs for, coffee is just the excuse”.
Turkish coffee differs from percolator and instant varieties, in terms of the way it is grinded and served. Coffee beans are roasted a few times and then grinded very fine. Turkish coffee is prepared in tiny pots called cezve, which can be used to make two cups of coffee at each shot. For perfect coffee, first put two cups of water in the cezve, and then add two spoons of Turkish coffee. When the coffee starts to boil, a thin layer of foam will appear on the surface of the liquid. Using a spoon, distribute this foam among the cups. Then boil the coffee in the cezve until it foams up again, and break it among the cups. This boiling action gives it its unique taste. Traditionally, each cup of coffee should be served along with a glass of water. Sugar may be added to taste into the cezve right before the cooking stage. One will be asked to specify the amount of sugar when ordering, sweet, sekerli, medium sweet, orta sekerli, and plain, sade.
Yet, the most distinguishing feature of Turkish coffee is neither the way it is grinded nor the way it is boiled. Turkish coffee is unique because it allows your fortune to be told by looking at the cup. This custom of coffee cup reading is at least as old as Turkish coffee itself, and it is repeated with each and every cup consumed. While this can be done casually among friends, it is also possible to consult professionals. So how a coffee cup is read, how can shapes trapped in a tiny cup reveal the future?
Firstly, the coffee should be drunk only from one side of the cup. When the coffee is finished, the saucer is placed on top of the cup, and a wish is made. With the saucer still covering the top, the cup is held at chest level and turned counter-clockwise a few times. Following this, the cup is turned upside down onto the saucer, and left to cool. Sometimes a coin may be placed on top to make the cup cool faster and to dispel bad omens that could be read from it. When the coffee cup is cool enough, someone other that the person who drunk the coffee opens the cup, and starts interpreting the shapes for divination.
Coffee cup reading is a widespread and popular fortune telling method, which speaks of both the past and the future. For divination purposes, the coffee cup is considered in two horizontal halves. The shapes in the lower half talk of the past, whereas shapes in the top half talk of the future. The shapes that feature on the right side are usually interpreted positively, while shapes on the left are interpreted as signs of bad events, enemies, illnesses, troubles, and the like. According to another belief, the coffee cup can tell the past but it can only foretell forty days into the future. Hence the practice of coffee cup reading cannot interpret the future that lies beyond forty days. In addition, if, at the reading stage, the cup and the saucer are firmly stuck, and the person is having trouble separating them, it is believed that this particular cup should not be read. This is a case of “prophet’s fortune telling,” where it is assumed that the person who has drunk from the cup is lucky, and does not need to have their fortune read. Similarly if a large chunk of coffee grounds should fall to the saucer as the cup is being separated, the interpretation is that the owner of the cup will soon be rid of all troubles and sadness. According to another standard interpretation, if coffee drips onto the saucer as the cup is opened, the person who drunk is to soon shed tears.
After the interpretation of the shapes within the cup, it is time to interpret the shapes in the saucer, where the majority of the coffee grounds have dripped. The saucer is generally interpreted as the home of the person whose cup is being read, and it is said to give clues about their domestic life. If there are large blank areas on the saucer where the coffee has not touched, the interpretation is a sense of relief that will be experienced in the person’s home. If however the shapes on the saucer are confused and disorderly, this is taken to mean that there will be a funeral or illness-related crowd in this person’s house. During the reading, the reader holds the saucer straight and waits for coffee grounds and coffee to flow. At the end of the reading, the saucer is flipped over once. At this stage, if a drop of coffee manages to get behind, and half way into the saucer’s radius, this is taken as a sign that the wish made will come true. Another important consideration while reading someone’s coffee cup is not to say things that will make a person too happy or too sad.
Whether it happens spontaneously after a meal, or delivered by a professional, the ritual of having one’s coffee cup read is a widespread divination practice characteristic to Turkish coffee. Today, in Turkey, the number of coffeehouses which employ professional coffee cup readers is on the increase. Hence you enjoy a fine cup of Turkish coffee, and get mystical glimpses into your future.
Journey of Emancipation of soul
June 1, 2012 at 15:56 (Ma Story)
Life is a circle, all we experience is a circle.
Starting from one point, and it takes a long term to figure out what we want and what we fear.
Being trapped, being afraid, being confused, being depressed…at the end, we found we were back in the same spot. We feel what we did, but with more understanding.
Therefore, life is not a complete circle but a circle moving spinning along a straight line, moving forward.
You set my soul free! But I know the journey of this emancipation is long, very long. This time I decided to set up, and I know there’s no way to come back. I can feel the freedom that I once had when I was a little girl. Although by that time, I didn’t know the real meaning of freedom. Life filled me up with suspicions and confusions. However, after all these years, I can finally be set free again, with and without all the burdens.

“I thought of the wilderness we had left behind us, open to sea and sky, joyous in its plenitude and simplicity, perfect yet vulnerable, unaware of what is coming, defended by nothing, guarded by no one.”
“Close your eyes and turn your face into the wind.
Feel it sweep along your skin in an invisible ocean of exultation.
Suddenly, you know you are alive.”
“These paintings say Mexico is an ancient thing that will still go on forever telling its own story in slabs of color leaves and fruits and proud naked Indians in a history without shame. Their great city of Tenochtitlan is still here beneath our shoes and history was always just like today full of markets and wanting.”

What The Hell Is This “Mystical Structure” in The Middle of Chinese Desert?
November 24, 2011 at 04:58 (Technology)
By Herman Lai, posted Nov 16, 2011 at 4:39 PM,
Picture 1I believe most of you guys must have already heard of the bizarre structures spotted in the middle of a desert in China. All the weird images were discovered by a Reddit user who found some suspected monumental military/science experiment in a Chinese desert on Google Earth. The internet is buzzing with lots of guesses and theories about what the hell these patterns are. So, let’s see what we have rounded up for you after the break. Many blogs and sites had reported these groups of satellite photos after it first exploded by Gizmodo. Theblog indicated it’s located in Dunhuang, Jiuquan, Gansu, north of the Shule River, which crosses the Tibetan Plateau to the west into the Kumtag Desert. It covers an area approximately one mile long by more than 3,000 feet wide. And Telegraph pointed out, all of the sites are on the borders of Gansu province and Xinjiang, some less than 100 miles from Jiuquan, the headquarters of China’s space programme and the location of its launch pads, also where China’s nuclear testing ground is. Therefore, it is convincing to tell China is carrying out its secret aircraft testing programme, and there are experts suggested that they might be optical test ranges for Chinese missiles, to simulate the street grids of cities. Let’s see what the blogs and news media said about all these mystical satellite images down below.
Picture 2“They seem to be wide lines drawn with some white material. Or maybe the dust have been dug by machinery.” “Perhaps it’s some kind of targeting or calibrating grid for Chinese spy satellites? Maybe it’s a QR code for aliens? Nobody really knows.” [Gizmodo] “Secret military installations or elaborate hoaxes?” [TheAge]
Picture 2“It does sort of resemble the configuration of streets in washington DC in the vicinity of the 1600 penn ave.” [Gizmodo's reader comment] “If China wanted to attack a U.S. city, it doesn’t need a practise map in the desert.” [Dailymail]
Picture 3“This one seems like another target, this time arranged radially, with planes and obstacles.” [Gizmodo] “The picture of the circle looks very like a missile test range, with target and instrumentation set out to record weapon effects. The Americans have lots of these in Nevada – Area 51!” [Tim Ripley, a defence expert from Jane's Defence Weekly told Telegraph]
Picture 4
Picture 4 (close up)“If you zoom in, you can see vehicles destroyed. It’s west of what seems to be a fairly big electrical station or a radio station similar to HAARP, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program located near Gakona, Alaska, and funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska, and DARPA.” [Gizmodo] “One of the other formation … looking tantalisingly like Stonehenge from a great height, zooming in reveals three aircraft sitting at its heart. Clearly, it is some kind of military target for airstrike or gunnery practice.” [Paul Marks, of the New Scientist magazine told TheAge]
Explanation from a former CIA analyst…
Picture 5According to Wired, the former CIA analyst spoke out there is someone ordered many, many satellite pictures of it since 2004. The crazy lines shown on the image above is captured on the DigitalGlobe layer in Google Earth, which is an evidence to tell the satellite has received commands to photograph this area many hundreds of times.
Picture 6Surrounds the construction, there were few Chinese words saying “Border Guard”. Why are there words that can be read clearly on a satellite image?
Picture 7A power-plant perhaps?
Picture 8Why is it in green? It is like a big gate that hides a massive lab underground.
Picture 9These pictures are driving us crazy…
Picture 10
That’s it. We don’t think it is a hoax. If it is, then Google must have already respond to it. And now, we are just looking forward to see what kind of explanation will China give the public. The news still hasn’t shocked Chinese Netizens or spread on Weibo yet. In fact, Google Maps previously did capture many military-related constructions, such as the Chinese PLA built a military base at Hainan Island and a secret construction (ark base in 2012 [film]) near Mount Everest. Moreover, the video noted Google also had a mystical plan, which the company had a lab based in US dubbed as Google X, conducting more than 100 scientific projects that focused on stuffs like “space lift”. So is the “someone” that indicated by the former CIA analyst meaning Google X? Source: Gizmodo, Telegraph, TheAge, Wired

‘Tatooine’ gives first direct proof of 2-sun planet
September 15, 2011 at 11:44 (Extraterrestrial Biological, Science)
Luke Skywalker looks out over a desert dominated by two setting suns in an iconic scene from “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.” But this isn’t just t he stuff of fiction. Now, astronomers have confirmed the first direct evidence that planets with two suns do exist.
Scientists at NASA and the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute [SETI] are informally calling the newly discovered world Tatooine, as homage toSkywalker’s planet imagined by George Lucas.
The so-called circumbinary planet has been dubbed with an official name that’s much less interesting: Kepler-16b.
Unlike the tagline of the Star Wars saga, Tatooine is not located in a “galaxy far, far away,” it’s right in our own backyard – relatively – about 200 light years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. Getting to Tatooine aboard a spacecraft traveling at light speed – 186,282 miles per second – would take about two centuries. (The closest star to earth outside our solar system is about 4 light years away.)
Using data from NASA’s $600 million Kepler telescope now orbiting the sun, a team lead by SETI’s Laurance Doyle detected the actual shadow of a planet as it crossed in front of its two suns – a scientific first. Before this discovery, astronomers could only infer that planets could circle two suns by looking at how the eclipses of those stars changed.
“When we first discovered it … I sent around a message, ‘Hey, you know guys, we should ask George Lucas if we can nickname this guy Tatooine,’” said Doyle, a former protegé of famed astrophysicist Carl Sagan. “Suddenly and unexpectedly after years of looking for a circumbinary planet – we got a beauty.”
The discovery opens up a whole new world of questions about the formation of planets, double-star systems and the way they work together.
A double sunset on the real Tatooine, Doyle said, would surpass even Lucas’ imagination. For someone standing on the planet’s surface, one of the suns would appear orange and the other red.
The suns also change positions and movement in relationship to each other. This means sunsets on Tatooine are like snowflakes: No two are ever the same. “Sometimes the red star would go down first, sometimes the orange star,” said Doyle. “Sometimes they would be far apart, sometimes they would be eclipsed. So it’s a really interesting sunset.”
Inside the rooms of SETI and NASA, the word’s been spreading fast. “Everybody’s already referring to it in informal meetings,” said Doyle. “‘So, how’s Tatooine going?’ or referring to ‘Tatooine’s orbital period,’ or whatever.”
The idea that something that was science fiction in 1977 has been found in the real universe in 2011 could, Doyle hopes, inspire future scientists and astronauts.
But future space travelers may be disappointed to learn the real Tatooine probably isn’t home to Skywalker or any other life form. Doyle is highly doubtful that the planet could support life as we know it due to its size and distance from its suns.
Here are a few other details about the planet nicknamed “Tatooine.”
- The planet could contain water in some form.
- It’s possible the planet could have one or more moons. Doyle continues to search.
- Kepler-16b will be visible to amateur astronomers in June 2012.
- Kepler-16b is the best-measured planet outside our solar system.
- Its two suns go around each other every 41 days.
- The planet has two eclipses each month.
- Kepler-16b’s “year” – the time it takes to go around its double suns – is 229 days.
- It’s believed that double-star systems outnumber single-star systems.
- Doyle expects to find more circumbinary planets in the next month or two.
Kepler-16′s mysteries began to reveal themselves in March of this year, when Doyle and SETI colleague Bob Slawson found the first clues while working at SETI facilities in Mountain View, California. Further investigation showed the system contained two small stars and later, a planet circling the stars.
“It was really quite a team effort,” said Doyle. “Dan Fabrycky, at University of California, Santa Cruz, did gravitational confirmation calculations.” I asked him, ‘So, what did you get?’ He said, ’99.99%, it’s a planet.’” Then after a few additional confirmations from other team members including Harvard-based Josh Carter, “we were like, that’s it guys. We nailed it. That’s the moment we nailed it.”
The discovery reminds Doyle of the work he did with Sagan at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the 1970s and ’80s, analyzing data from the Voyager 1 and 2 probes to Jupiter and Saturn. Sagan took Doyle under his wing, encouraging him to pursue his doctoral dissertation based on Voyager’s data about Saturn’s mysterious rings.
Sagan, who died in 1996, would have celebrated this new discovery, Doyle suspects. “Being Carl, I think he might have used the term ‘elegant.’ A whole new kind of anything (in this case a planetary system) is what Carl just loved.”
16 ‘super-Earths’ found outside solar system
September 13, 2011 at 20:13 (Science)
It’s not like aliens put up a welcome banner or anything, but scientists now have newly identified at least one planet that could potentially sustain life.
The European Southern Observatory has just announced the discovery of more than 50 new exoplanets (planets outside our solar system), including 16 super-Earths (planets whose mass is between one and 10 times that of our own planet).
One of these planets in particular could theoretically be home to life if conditions are right. It’s called HD 85512 b, and scientists say it’s about 3.6 times the mass of the Earth. This planet is about 35 light years from Earth. Its location with respect to its star suggests that this planet could have liquid water under certain circumstances.
Don’t get too excited, though; there’s a lot more work to be done to explore whether this planet is truly fit for life, in addition to whether there are alien life forms there.
The discovery comes from High Accuracy Radial Velocity Planet Searcher, or HARPS. HARPS is located at the La Silla Observatory in Chile, and is part of a telescope that’s nearly 12 feet long.
Here’s how it works, according to ESO: When a planet orbits a star, the star move towards and away from the person who’s stargazing on Earth in a regular fashion. That’s called a change in radial velocity. Because of the Doppler effect, changes in radial velocity makes the star’s light spectrum move towards longer wavelengths when it’s moving away, and towards shorter wavelengths as it gets closer. HARPS can detect this shift in the spectrum, and infer that there is a planet present.
So far, scientists have confirmed the existence of 564 planets outside of our solar system, according to NASA’s PlanetQuest website, not counting this latest batch of more than 50. Beyond that, NASA’s Kepler mission has found more than 1,200 exoplanet candidates.
“In the coming 10 to 20 years we should have the first list of potentially habitable planets in the Sun’s neighbourhood. Making such a list is essential before future experiments can search for possible spectroscopic signatures of life in the exoplanet atmospheres,” said Michel Mayor, who led the HARPS team, in a statement.

Things In Europe Go From Bad To Worse As Germany’s FDP Party Seeks Referendum Over EFSF
September 9, 2011 at 17:18 (Europe)
No sooner has the EFSF “passed” the German constitutional court (with large caveats, most notably that the German government will have a much greater say in any and all future European bailouts, assuming such are actually needed and the Euro does not implode), that we learn that yet another hurdle for the Greek bailout presents itself courtesy of primary fund provider, Germany, which is now finally very angry (as suggested first here “The Fatal Flaw In Europe’s Second “Bazooka” Bailout: 82 Million Soon To Be Very Angry Germans, Or How Euro Bailout #2 Could Cost Up To 56% Of German GDP” two months ago) at what it realizes is an ongoing transfer without checks and balances (remember: the insolvent PIIGS hold all the trump cards) of capital from Europe’s prudent workers to those who are, well, not. To wit, according to the Spiegel, German FDP Party has just announced that it will seek a referendum on the ESM/EFSF. What this means is that while the hurdle is not insurmountable from a legal perspective, it will merely add further uncertainty to the final bailout of a country that according to the market at least is 100% bankrupt in an alternative universe in which fundamentals matters.
Several front against the Liberals make permanent euro rescue ESM. With a membership vote, a group wants to prevent the FDP politician Schäffler and stag party for the approval of the aid package.
The Christian Lindner letter reached Friday afternoon by 17 clock by messenger. Since then, should the weekends of the FDP-General to be thrown overboard. In order to prevent the approval of the FDP faction in the Bundestag for permanent euro rescue ESM in the fall, a group aimed at the euro-skeptic Frank Schäffler and the Old Liberals Burkhard Hirsch, a membership vote on. “The discussion in the FDP on more measures to rescue debt-ridden countries in Europe is an important political issue and requires a broad discussion in the FDP,” it said in a letter to FDP General Secretary Christian Lindner on Friday. The letter is from SPIEGEL ONLINE.
In a decision that the critics of the euro rescue measures apply to “permanent emergency measures for which Germany is liable for the debts of other European states.” It continues: “The FDP opposes hence the establishment of a permanent European Stability Mechanism (ESM).” Should not the previously agreed measures prove to be sufficient, says the FDP in favor of over-indebted countries in an orderly exit from the to allow Euro to avoid a messy break-up of our currency. “
For Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and the FDP, the party leadership is bad news. And it comes at an inopportune time. Just ECB chief economist Juergen Stark has resigned. In addition, the conservative-liberal government is currently fighting for the majority of the extended, temporary rescue EFSF. Now threatens the later vote on the following permanent pilot chute for ESM to be cliffhanger. Lacks the Chancellor with such a central issue in European politics with a majority, it could mean the end for the black-yellow coalition.
Especially since it is not excluded that the Euro-critics with their application be successful. 3,400 signatures have to collect the protesters for the action, which is five percent of about 68,000 FDP members. It provides for the Rules of Procedure. The last and only time the FDP had consulted their members in 1997 when the Great eavesdropping. The party leadership has the opportunity to amend the critics with its own alternative proposal to counter. One-third of the members involved in the decision, the result is official policy position of the FDP. The faction in the Bundestag must vote accordingly.
Initiator of the request is € tireless critic Frank Schäffler. That he is supported by Burkhard Hirsch, a Liberal of the old school, his concerns should give a new impetus. “I’m for Europe. But I am afraid that the way we want to save the euro, it says that we will divide Europe at the end,” said Hirsch SPIEGEL ONLINE. “I am against a slide into a debt union. So far, all the billions we have paid to Greece, led to no result.”
We expect the market will take the usual several hours to process this.
